Description:
Founded in
1998, Global Environmental Resources Inc. (GERI) is
a woman-owned, minority enterprise providing a broad
range of consulting services for initiatives on the
environment, natural resources, and public health, with
a particular focus on issues relating to minorities.
GERI's founder and president is Deeohn Ferris, an attorney
whose previous experience includes serving as executive
director of the Washington Office on Environmental Justice
and director of the Special Litigation Division of the
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The African American
Forum is co-chaired by Angela Glover Blackwell, Robert
Bullard, and john powell.
