Recognizing the vibrancy and energy that immigrants bring to regions paves the way for a discussion of the various challenges and opportunities when engaging diverse communities in regional equity efforts. Speakers representing philanthropy and community development, discussed how these demographic changes affect the regions and communities in which they work. Participants learned about promising practices to promote social and economic inclusion.
