We were inspired by this act of radical empathy and transformative hope in the face of the unprecedented campfire destruction of Paradise, CA. Paradise lost and regenerating. ‘The Key Phoenix,’ created by Jessie Mercer, was made from the keys of the homes burned in the fire. Thank you Bob Stilger, learn more about this courageous community work at newstories.org.
Send us your stories and nominate your s/heroes for the Random Kindness Resilience Leadership Award! To be announced on Earth Day 2021.
